Day one was FULL!!! While we didn't lead anyone in the sinner's prayer today, we did get to share about Jesus with a few people and I was also able to minister in prayer to a young college student in the mall bathroom! :) We also spent the late afternoon at the local nursing home, which turned out to be such a blessing to everyone involved. The kids sang a little song that we like to sing at bedtime, and one of the residents exclaimed, "Thank you so much! You just made our day SO beautiful!!!" It was so good to shower love on people who don't get very much attention.
Please keep praying, as all of us were extremely tired by the end of the day and it's only day one!!! Jesus will be our strength. Please pray for continued good attitudes for all of the kids (hannah comes with us after school), and for Jesus to accomplish all that He desires in and through us. This week is not about me saving the world; it is about Jesus doing His work through me. So pray that I don't get in the way of HIS glory. And that I move in accord with His Spirit.
